Life. I've heard it said,
Life - It can be fatal.
Life - Doesn't guarantee much.
Except fatality, it is assured.
Poetry freewrite .
I've heard it said with wit and jest
I speak simply of life
Not one endeavour choice or charge
Just the act of birth
Each day someone comes tumbling in
Oft assist from midwife
Seldom occurring to the throng
One guarantee on earth
Of all the things they promise you
Keep safe, wealth out of strife
Regardless of the luck or road
There's no giving it girth
Eventually we'll all meet it
Not just misventured strife
A fateful path it's guaranteed
Live now with joy and mirth.
