Abnormal. Flawed. Marked.
An O with a peg-leg
stepping awkwardly through words
often needing U to do the talking.
Neither the front nor the back,
not even the middle.
Caught between two sentinels.
Blame his cursed childhood
in front of the nymph of P.
Getting the cold shoulder
from the growth-spurt waiting R.
Oddly twisted, seeking something
he could never find.
No wonder he stopped trying,
stopped reaching.
Gave up.
Encircled himself with only a scar remaining.
Notes: A fun little experiment, playing with an odd little letter. I don't know if there is much depth to it, but it also opens up the possibility of doing that same style with all of the other letters in the alphabet. Maybe I'll consider that as a fun experiment. Hope you all enjoyed.
