The more I write each and every single pearlescent poem
My inner thoughts, when times pass, reveal more so you can know 'em
On the outside, I outcry, "I am no different!"
Than the inner soul that aims to make a positive imprint
Pure compassion, no assassin, I have deep understanding
In a world that's truly lacking, better love it's demanding
It's too easy to spill blood like oil dug does when fracking
From the moments that you choose to start relentless attacking
But it's harder to combat the darkest evil amongst people
When you find yourself encircled most by snakes, rats and weasels
They pop up in many spots, spreading, killing like measles
Sinisterly savage, flamed destruction, upheavals
Why Oh Tell Me Why, do we choose to hurt one another?
Crazy to even think that we use pillows to smother!
We weaponize the world to plunder, murder asunder
But I told the devil many times you can't keep all of us under
Thank you for reading this poem in its entirety. Steemit is challenging me to write poems everyday almost and I can see improvement in my thought process and creativity. I hope you are enjoying the journey with me as we walk through my mindful thoughts and imagination together.
