I achieved nothing today - an "up to 5 minutes" temporary disconnection from my ISP turned into 13 hours with no interwebs :(
From 10am this morning, till 11pm at night .
OptiComm wishes to advise that there will be planned maintenance in Fernbrook. This will affect all services for up to 5 minutes over the outage window of 10:00 - 11:00.
(Update 23:30) All services have now been restored and we are monitoring for stability.
Such a pain in the ass.
This "planned maintenance" seems to happen more and more often, with no warning at all - and I'm yet to see a single fix ETA that's remotely close to reality in the years I've been stuck with this company.
I started the day all inspired to work on some major updates to steemiz , after some user feedback and a play around with @good-karma's awesome api explorer.
Now it's nearly midnight and I'm exhausted so it'll have to wait till tomorrow.

It's not all bad, downtime gave me the excused to finally try some games I'd downloaded acquired legally but never played ;)

Waaay better character movement then the original, but the same floaty vehicle handling. Has potential, but I need more time with it.
