When I launched @steemleak 3 months ago, I was already all-in with Steemit and saw the massive potential of the platform.
I had been a supporter of Wikileaks in the past and I feel that the information they publish aligns with the interests of many Steemians , as well as provide an opportunity to showcase Steem as a crowdfunding platform.

Donation Report 3
@steemleak has received a lot of support over the last 3 months , and as of the last donation report we have now donated a total of 0.9675769 BTC to wikileaks. This is despite steem being in a downtrend since @steemleak launched, and having limited time I could commit to the project.

Now with the massive increase in the amount of information coming out during the 10 year anniversary of Wikileaks, I'm really struggling to find the time and focus required to give this project attention it deserves. This feels like a wasted opportunity, and I need help.
How can I help ?
I'd like this to be more of a community run project, and I'm always open to any feedback or ideas on how best to do this. My goal is to be able to consistently put out quality content based on information published by wikileaks , highlight specific leaks and publish them to the Steem blockchain.
Since all funds received by @steemleak are donated to wikileaks I can't forward the post earnings, however If you produce a quality article exclusively for steemleak with sourced images and information based on or about wikileaks materials you will get:
- Full credit for your work and linkbacks to your steemit profile and a post of your choice in the @steemleak post
- An extra shoutout and linkback (to a new/different post if you want) in the @steemleak donation report following your contribution
- A linkback to your steemit profile on the steemleak website as a contributor.
- My unending gratitude, I'll follow you and give you my minnow upvotes where I can.
- Potential additional rewards funded by myself for quality submissions from repeat contributors
If you'd like to donate directly for this fund send SBD/Steem to myself with steemleak in the memo and I'll put these funds into the new time-locked savings accounts. I've just put 10 SBD of my own recent payout into the savings account for this purpose.
Rewards given will be proportional to the earnings of the @steemleak post you contribute, incentivizing people to help with promotion too ;)
I can't promise there will always be rewards for this, I've personally never made anything from it - but I hope people will consider contributing anyway for the self promotion opportunity and to support a good cause.
