We went out for a christmas party at my kids school tonight, and came back home to a heap of gekkos all over the house.
Unfortunately I only had the phone camera handy, and they were pretty quick to hide whenever the flash went off but I managed to get a few shots of the little guys anyway :)

Sitting right in the crush zone on our fridge door

@krystle 's finger for scale - so tiny

Managed to get right in his face for these shots

This tiny little guy is about 3cm long and crazy thin

Trying to flee, he's super quick and jumpy about the camera flash

This big guy was on our garage door, from the size of that belly I'd say he's been eating well :)

The biggest one, chased it around for a bit trying to get a good shot - he finally settled on a good "hiding" spot here :P
These are Common house gekkos, we get them a lot here in Southeast Queensland - they're completely harmless (unless you're a bug). I love these little guys !
Unfortunately so does our cat, so we end up regularly having to chase them away up high to keep them safe from our master huntress..
We have such a diverse range of crazy critters here in Australia, it's so nice to run into one that isn't trying to kill you :)
