It's approaching that time of the year again when the season is changing. Well, depending on who you ask, there may or may not be an autumn here in Utah. One of the easiest ways for me to tell summer is approaching to the end is how soon the sun begins to set.
I was a little bit bummed out that I couldn't catch the sun's last gleaming just over the mountain. This was around 8 o'clock in the evening. Within minutes, the evening landscape started to take over.
Coming out of work, it was noticeable that the sun hadn't risen from its slumber. In fact, I was greeted by the moon as I walked out of the door.
As expected, I didn't think the picture would turn out great. There was almost no light to help sharpen the image. The light in the center of the photo is not a street lamp, but the floating rock above the sky.
As I turned my camera upwards, it looked like the sun was beginning to rise. I really liked the contrast between the light and the dark.

In a few weeks, we should expect the leaves on the trees to change and the mountains will be a palette of various fall colors. That is, if it doesn't randomly snow first like some years. On that note, I did notice recent precipitations had dramatically lowered the temperature significantly.
Regardless, there will be photos to come in the near future. Until next time...
Cheers!
