Ulog #7 : My Boyzone Experience

Boyzone had their concert in my city last night and I happen to be one of the lucky ones to get a Diamond class ticket, for free. It happenned that the Oppo Community is a sponsor and they are giving out some free tickes. The diamond ticket means you get to sit dfown and the place is higher but, the boys will seem tiny hahahhaha. But I still would rather seat and watch a concert than standing up since I do have anxiety disorder. I left work earliet and met up with teh coordinator in the Wyndham hotel, right beside the venue to get my tickets. My friend decided it would be good to stay there as well since the show will finish around 10 pm and she had wanted to try out that hotel since the other time. So we had a great dinner and are able to rest before going to the venue.

I have to say that last night was a short escape from my daily routine lie and everything felt amazing and magical. We went to the venue 15 minutes before the concert starts and the coordinator actually gave me two extra standing tickets in case I wanted to go down and watch closer, but I dial up my friends instead and told them to come over.

Now, I was still a small child when Boyzone Debuted, but there are just songs that just stays in our head and to be very honest 90s pop was the best, I mean, boyzone, BSB, westlife, Spicegiirls, Britney... you name it. They were all my childhood memories. also, another thing about 90s pop are the lyrics, they are simple but meaningful. They don't keep on talking about drugs and sex and all the jazz and for me songs with meaningful lyrics stays in the heart longer.

Also, here is a small clip of oen of my favourite songs from them.

The venue wasn't big and there were no additional stages or outfit changes or anything else, but their voices are wonderful, and time felt so fast. I'm sad that it is over so quickly, but overall I felt satisfied. Their new song is really awesome, take a listent o it. It is co written by Ed Sheeran and it's like a mesh of 90s pop and current pop.

Every cinderella had to go home after midnight, and when I wake up in the morning I'm back to my old daily stuffs but happier, more energized. These are the moments when you feel like you could dream againa nd all those fluffy unicorn feelings.
