Last weekend I spend some days in Umag - Croatia for a short holiday. I also visited Slovenia and the Town of Piran for a short trip. I really love the venetian style of the town and I understand that there is a lot of tourists there that want to see it. I ate some really great food there and walked through the town with my camera for some pictures and to see somthing of the beauty of the town. Unfortunately the church tower was under construction when I was there.
The bruschetta I got there in a small tavern was excellent and so was the self made lemonade. The prices were not the cheapest but every touristic attractive spot is more expensive. One thing I also really liked at this spot is that there were a lot of happy and friendly people. The usual warmer and nicer weather helps to keep people happy. And of course also the good food and baverages like Wine and Beer are popular in Slovenia.
