Today is Friday I spent a nice day with nice weather. Since our weekend holiday is Friday, I market today for the whole week. I'm trying to share with you some parts of my today's market with Kaptan Bazar locket at Old Dhaka.
Roads in our area were mostly empty due to the weekend, big markets were closed today. Due to which some temporary shops have been set up in front of many markets. Where many products are sold at a somewhat lower price.
However, in our area this market is quite old and famous in this area. This is why I always try to market from here, because all kinds of essential products are available simultaneously and there are multiple shops of the same product which can be purchased at lower prices.
On the way to the market, there is an old dessert shop, which means jilapi is the most popular sweet item in our country. Especially on Friday, jilapi sells more, because many take it home because of the holiday. So I started the market with the taste of jilapi. This shop's jilapi test is really tasty.
The winter season is almost over, which is why many seasonal fruits are available in the market, of which Bell is my most favorite. Especially in hot weather the syrup of the vine is very good for health. So I bought the bell and bought another native fruit dried Jujube. Dried Jujube is popular for pickles.
Then I started the market for my mother by purchasing. Since the hot season is approaching, I have bought jaggery to eat sorbet. Jaggery sorbet is very popular in our country. Many people like me prefer Jaggery sorbet when it is hot to keep the body healthy.
After seeing the list of all the necessary products, I started buying, such as potatoes, eggs, chicken and various vegetables. Although I try to buy fresh vegetables almost every day. Because I don't store vegetables in the fridge. Although many people in our country keep long days stored in the refrigerator of various vegetables.
One thing to note here is that since I was a kid I used olive oil. As a result I purchase olive oil for my children and encourage them to use this oil. And in cooking I use rice bran oil. Because of its various health benefits it has motivated me to use this oil. However, the price of this oil is higher than ordinary oil.
Then I bought some of my favorite fish. In this case, our country has some different cultures. Like the fish I like, my brother or wife likes other types of fish. Because of which I have to buy more than one type of fish. In between, I bought large fish for the boy and shrimp for the wife.
In fact, when it comes to the market, one has to consider the preferences of everyone and try to buy everything they like. Anyway, bring everything home to purchase. I will come back to market next week again like this with another reputed market.
