Am joining the new regular round of Ultimate Crochet Contest, hosted by @foxyspirit, thus, I crochet this CROCHETIST Wrist Bag, a hoth - hot of the hook just this morning.
This is my 5th attempt to post since morning after I finished making this bag.
On my first attempt, 7 pictures I uploaded, with explanations after each pictures and the pattern tutorial. In just one click all gone!
My cellphone memory is too low, it notified.
Thankful, for now at least it accepted this 2 pictures. So, no more pattern tutorial, no more footer and no more Needleworkmonday logo, sad...
Last week, my order the Lava cake yarn, arrived with a cloth wrist bag as freebie. Thank you much Altheo, the man who crochet, I will blog about him in the future.
I right away used the cloth bag. Hmm, versatile and practical. It can house 1 cake yarn, very easy to crochet when you are standing crocheting while waiting. For days, it got soiled right away.
So, that's why I crocheted this Crochetist Wrist bag copying the original cloth bag.
Using tiny cord, triple pull cotton yarn with 3mm hook from the extra of my previous projects, I draw the circle base about 6" in diameter.
Then, made 4pcs simple granny square join as I go, sew into the base which I first made, added 2 rows for the height to achieve 5 1/2" height of the body of the bag and lastly made the handle construction with granny stitch and 3rows of single crochet both right and left side of the handles.
Lastly, I attached the tassle for additional art.
