How to get a Hive Account

Chemicals derived from the refinement process of petroleum or gas products, split into olefins and aromatics and used in the production of solvents, chemicals and plastics.

Some chemical compounds come from other fossil fuels such as coal. We also see them coming from maize, palm fruit, and sugar cane.

Petrochemicals can be divided into 3 classes:

  • Olefins
  • Aromatics
  • Synthetic Gas

Petrochemicals are made on a very large scale, similar to commodity chemicals. The difference is that petrochemical plants will usually produce a number of related products.
