9ULOG: DAY #34 - TAKE A STEP, WALK WITH ME

Dear Steemians!

Just like any Weekend day, I wanted to wake up late and savour the smell of the bed a little longer. However, since Little Mali is an early riser (he never fails), he tried to wake us all. But as a clever mom, I pretended to be asleep so that he would go back to sleep too. I even let out a snore! 😂.. darn! It only made him laugh. His laughter filled up our quiet morning! I could no longer feign sleeping for I was giggling already. Oh how I want to bite this kid of mine!

We ought to have a little celebration today. Our Little Mali has likewise achieved a milestone. Yeyyyyyy! He finally walked a yard at 13 months!!!!! 😰😰😰..

This little boy has always been afraid to walk unassisted. He always hold on to me everytime we practice walking. He would cry up if I tried to let go. He would rather crawl than walk and by the way he is a fast crawler! I have to lock my gaze on him or else he will be crawling outside the house.. yeah i know! Dont you worry he was not harmed and we already installed the safety gate.

But today, he has been very brave! He kept calling out to me, he wanted me to see that he can already stand up on his own, more like 10 seconds steady. And I gasped as he tries to take a step! And take another one! Oh my! He was slowly walking towards me!!! I cried and hugged him instantly and he was giggling too.. awww I melted with him! That was our moment! Good job pumpkin!! 😙😗

I was so excited to show to Ex-Boyfie and Kuya Maque his new development. We were so ecstatic and cheered Little Mali as he kept taking little walks. Now, he is unstoppable. He will wink at you and walk bit by bit.. hehe silly boy! 😄

With that, we decided to eat outside. Literally, the Ex-Boyfie set up the plastic table outside the house. We had taken our lunch under the tree. We had a boodle fight! No spoons and plates needed. We just use our hands and dive in.
