Dear Steemians!
Helloooooooooo Weekend!
Im excited to share with you where we have been. We visited a nearby Fish and Bird Sanctuary in Macrohon, Southern Leyte.
Oh! The boys are sooooo excited!
The Fish Sanctuary is a 25 hectares land where a home to virgin coral reef to a variety of sea creatures. The local government has banned the area for fishing. But they allow tourist to come and go.
It wasn't a sunny day for it was raining a little. It did not stop us though, so the plan had to push through because we have travelled for almost an hour to get here.
From the shore, you have to walk through a man-made bridge directing you to the area where you can actually feed the fishes. You can either feed them with bread or cookies.
The fishes had become accustomed to all tourists visiting. They knew we were coming and they kept following us till we reached to the designated feeding and viewing deck. Kuya Maque was just as happy to see those fishes.
Kuya Maque was so excited to finally reached the deck. He was so afraid at first to let from his dad, but he wanted to see the fishes badly. His eyes grew in delight to actually see a lot of fishes below.
mommy look! There so many! Can we feed them now?
sure thing baby!
As we throw the crumbled bread over the water, the fish were just squirming right in. Oh! It was a lovely sight..fishes were racing to get the pieces of bread, some were even jumping.
I haven't had the chance for many shots for I was living in the moment as what dear Ex-boyfie would always say. Plus I have a baby on hand, my hands were literally full. Also, being in that deck somehow weakened my knees a bit. I feel like, the bamboo bridge might collapsed anytime. It basically shake the whole place whenever someone walked pass through us.
However, the view is breathtaking. Hellooooo! Ocean lovers! Plus its windy, you feel like you just want to lay down and close your eyes for a moment. Which we actually did! At that time, there were not much tourist around. We had the place all to ourselves.
We had enjoyed our little trip so far! It is always fun to go on a trip especially those that are unplanned. Never stop taking adventures, you'll never know what surprises awaits.
Hoping you have had some adventures today too! Get out and see the world.. ⚘
