New to SteemIt, and looking for some possible ideas of how to verify yourself with out having to post those pictures of yourself. There is a away you can. Today I just learned about the project http://www.steemverify.com/. You upload a photo of yourself, which the will not keep, nor post on the blockchain. All it takes is a contribution of SBD when you have finished. According to the FAQ if they do not accept your application for any reason they will refund your SBD, so if they can not verify you then there is no loss to you.
As the FAQ says please keep in mind this does not mean the verified person will not create spam, it just means that they have been verified as a real person. I have not yet received my badge as I just applied today and it takes between 24 and 48 hours to receive the badge.
As you can see this is a very easy process. in step A just fill in your email. Step B is your SteemIt user ID. For Step C you can get this from your SteemIt Wallet page it is the number in parenthesis after your SteemIt user ID, seen here from an older screenshot I made.
For the part in Step D, if you already made a post in the introducemyself tag you can add the link here. Part C just upload a pic of yourself, as I said they just verify your a person, it will not be added to your Steem account. All they need is a pic of your face with a sign that has the date and your SteemIt ID. If you use any other social media platforms you can add your links here, this can help with the verification process.
Step F just verify that you have made at least 10 or more posts using your SteemIt account. For Step G select one of the badges they have available. At the moment there are 10 badges available.
You may add any comments here if you would like. After submitting this page they ask for a small donation of SBD, currently there is no minimum. I sent over $0.30 since I do not have much SBD at the moment.

Thank you for reading, I hope this helps.
