Decorar la casa en navidad es algo que trae mucha alegría al hogar y a la familia, no se trata de hacer gastos exorbitantes pero se puede lograr mucho sabiendo aprovechar ofertas y descuentos y además haciendo con las propias manos los adornos navideños, sin embargo hay cosas que me gustaría aconsejar a los decoradores primerizos o aquellas personas que deseen una decoración renovada esta navidad.
Decorating the house at Christmas is something that brings a lot of joy to the home and the family, it is not about making exorbitant expenses but a lot can be achieved by knowing how to take advantage of offers and discounts and also making Christmas decorations with your own hands, however there are things that I would like to advise first-time decorators or those who want a renewed decoration this Christmas.
Mi primer consejo es planificar, esto quiere decir tener en cuenta el presupuesto antes de iniciar la decoración, tomar en cuenta que áreas de la casa va a decorar antes de hacer las compras, porque en las tiendas vemos adornos muy hermosos pero que si se compran impulsivamente al final no hay sitio donde colócalos o peor aún que no quede bien con el resto de los adornos así lo primero que de sebe hacer es escoger el lugar de la casa y esto debe estar acorde al presupuesto.
My first advice is to plan, this means taking into account the budget before starting the decoration, taking into account which areas of the house you are going to decorate before making purchases, because in stores we see very beautiful decorations but if they are bought impulsively in the end there is no place to place them or even worse that it does not look good with the rest of the decorations, so the first thing to do is choose the place in the house and this must be according to the budget.
Mi segundo consejo es tener en cuenta la ubicación de las tomas de corriente eléctrica de la casa, así como también tener una cinta métrica a la mano para medir las distancia correspondientes, para que al comprar luces navideñas checar las dimensiones de estas luces, muchas veces las cajas de luces solo dicen el número de bombillos o led, pero en las letras pequeñas de las cajas debe decir la distancia en metros, por lo que es conveniente saber cuantas luces se necesitan, además algo muy importante a saber es que las luces viene con un límite de conexiones, es decir que se pueden unir por ejemplo máximo 5 set de luces, saber esto es sumamente importante para garantizar el buen funcionamiento de las luces y además evitar cualquier accidente eléctrico. Mi mayor consejo es este aspecto es que si no saben de electricidad pida ayuda a un profesional si van a instalar muchos set de luces a la vez, por favor no intenten reparar set de luces viejos y siempre trabajen con mucha prudencia, evitar poner luces muy cerca de cosas inflamables.

My biggest advice in this aspect is that if you do not know about electricity, ask a professional for help. If you are going to install many light sets at the same time, please do not try to repair old light sets and always work very carefully, avoid putting lights that are very near flammable things.
El tercer consejo es decidir los colores de las decoraciones antes de salir a comprar , así como el estilo de las decoraciones, por ejemplo si va a decorar se colores tradicionales como rojo, verde y blanco, o si va hacer algo más moderno como por ejemplo plateado con azul o dorado con rojo, tomar en cuenta esto evitará comprar adornos que no se ajustan al estilo de los demás adornos.
The third tip is to decide the colors of the decorations before you go shopping, as well as the style of the decorations, for example if you are going to decorate in traditional colors like red, green and white, or if you are going to do something more modern such as silver with blue or gold with red, keeping this in mind will avoid buying ornaments that don't match the style of the other ornaments.
