Prepping on a budget: Part 3
Welcome to the third installment of "Prepping on a budget". Part 2 can be found here:
@innatruck/prepping-on-a-budget-part-2
This last weekend's installment was accomplished while doing grocery shopping.
First up: some isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, 70%. Many uses, including cleaning and treating cuts and scrapes.
Next, a roll of duct tape (I don't need to explain, do I?)
I got the biggest of the several sizes.
And finally, a deck of playing cards. Even a seemingly minor form of entertainment could prove to be invaluable.
Also this week: a bonus item. I helped a friend take a truck to the scrap yard, and while we were cleaning it out and getting ready to go, we found the remains of a vehicle emergency kit, which he was going to toss, and I got a couple road flares in decent shape from, as well as one of those small rectangular flashlights you can charge popping the little handle out and squeezing. I have to check to see if it still works, however.
(Also, no pics, I apologize)
Looking forward to the next installment. As always, thoughts and comments are welcome.
Cheers!
