Things You Can Do The Night Before To Make Your Mornings Stress Free

I am a big believer that the way we start our mornings sets up the mood for the entire day. If you hit the snooze button five times just to find yourself jumping out of the bed last minute, rushing and running out of the door, feeling nervous, anxious or stressed out, you are most likely to take some of that mood throughout the day. On the other side, if you start your mornings a little bit more chilled and slow, maybe even with some sort of a morning routine, your mind will be at a good place to take over the daily tasks with a lot more ease and good vibes.

Things You Can Do The Night Before To Make Your Mornings Stress Free

I already wrote about morning routines a few times, but in this post I want to talk about things you can do the night before to make your mornings awesome! Today I had to wake up quite early, at 3:35am so before I went to bed, I decided to prepare some things I will need and use so when I get up, I have everything ready. When the alarm clock went on, I got up right away and I had that feeling like "I know what I have to do" because everything was waiting for me.

Pack your stuff the night before: no matter if it's a school bag, work bag or maybe even travel bag, doing this task the night before will save you some time in the morning and you will probably pack all the things you need and won't forget anything. Sometimes in the morning, especially if you pack stuff in hurry, something ends up being left out. When your stuff is ready, even if you sleep in, you can grab your bag and run out the door.

Make a to-do list: if you have a bunch of tasks for the next day, write them down on paper or on your phone the night before. This way you will give your brain a break from overthinking, you will have all the tasks at one place and you will probably feel more relaxed when you go to bed instead of having all these thoughts on your mind.

Prepare everything you can the night before: I did this last night and let me tell you, it works like wonder! I prepared my full outfit for the day, everything I need to make my breakfast and coffee (from the picture above) - a bowl, oatmeal, banana and other ingredients, spoons, coffee mug - everything was on the kitchen countertop. I put my mirror and makeup bag on the desk ready to be used. Like I mentioned, this gave me that feeling of knowing what I have to do and made me get up easily and put on my outfit, make myself a breakfast and coffee, do my makeup etc.

I hope you found this post helpful and maybe got some inspiration to try out some of the things mentioned, if you haven't tried them already. Also, if you have your own tips and tricks that you like and use, please share them in the comments below. Other than that, I just want to wish you an amazing weekend. :)
