Few people know that their lifestyle today is a result of whether they are first born, middle born, twin, only child or last born of their family.Most Birth Order Family psychologists can read you easily and can tell you your birth order just by studying your behavior traits. This is an interesting field in psychology that few people know. I think Birth Order can be classified in the same category with Body Language, Facial Expression reading and even Graphology to mention but a few.
Introduction
In the past days I have been posting about how we are all influenced by our birth number position in our family. Birth order is the placement of siblings in a family according to Alfred Adler(1870–1937) who is a respected author in this field of psychology.In the past days I have been posting on this field called Birth Order. I have already shared with you what I now know about the character traits of first born children as well as those of the middle born children.
This post is about the last born children in a family. It focuses on their character traits they are expected to be like in life. These traits are not opinions but facts which came after years and years of research in this field called Birth Order.Alfred Adler and Dr Leman are some of the respected authors in this interesting field.
In the previous posts about first born childrenand middle born children I defined who is called first born and middle born according to Birth Order psychologists. I also promised you that a post about Last Born Children is coming and here it is.
Remember a child born alone in a family cannot be classified as 'First Born' or 'Last Born' since the 'Only child' is unique and very different from others. Today we will focus on 'Last Borns' who are also known as the 'Babies of the family'.

Definition of Last Born here
1 . A person who is born last among-st siblings and their age difference between them and the sibling born before them should not be more than 5-6 years. If their age spacing is more than 5-6 years then they are most likely to have 1st born character traits and if the age difference between them is 7-10 years with the person before them they will have the character traits like those of a single child aka ‘Only-Child’. I have posted about 1st born children before and you can check it out. A post about ‘Only-Child’ is the next in the queue.
2 . The last born in a family with a sibling(s) but the one born before them is not 5-6 years older as said above.
N.B. A child born alone aka ‘Only-Child’ does not qualify here to be called a last born or even called a first born for they have their own unique character traits.A blog post about the ‘Only-Child’ is coming soon.
Character traits of the last born children/ The baby of the family
1 . Manipulative of all the siblings
Most likely to get what they want by force since they see only their way. This maybe because of the spoiling they got when still young.
2 . Charming and charismatic
According o Dr Leman these are fun and likable of all the siblings. They are also the easy ones to talk to with. They can connect easily with anyone, anywhere.
3 . High on people skills
They know how to read and relate with other people very well. According to Dr Leman they like social settings and events are their cup of tea.
4 . Blames others at most
Its hard for most of them to take the blame.
5 . Attention seeker for example they are good entertainers
They are entertaining and interesting and are good at making others pay attention at them. They will sure hook you into their world.
6 . The baby of the family always gets away with everything
Mom and Dad protected him/her so he/she is used to winning in life via force.
7 . Most likely to marry a perfectionist firstborn
According to Dr Leman most First Borns gets along so well with their fun-loving, practical joker, baby-of-the-family spouse.
8 . Does not take a no for an answer
They are persistent with what they want and will work hard to achieve it.
9 . A people person whose life is a party
10 . Natural salesperson
11.Engaging, outgoing and social
May come across as undisciplined, prone to talk too much and too long, the kind
who talks a good game but can't always produce - Dr Leman
12 . Affectionate, caring and lovable
13 . Loves surprises unlike the 1st born
14 . Uncomplicated, spontaneous and humorous
They look trusty-worthy and have no hidden agendas.
15 . Spoiled and fights to get things his/her own way
16 . Most likely to spend money because they can’t save
17 . Makes decisions too much on feelings and not on deep thought
18 . May appear to have a big ego
19 . May not be willing to give other people credit
20 . They are most likely to take risks and change things in life
According to Dr Leman they are the Revolutionary Rebels who will change things whilst the 1st born guys are the Conservatives who will make-sure there is no change from the good status of things. Most rebels and revolutionaries are last born.
21 . They are very good actors and are most likely to be successful in the arts

In his post I have shared with you some character traits of 'Last Born Children' according to Birth Order Psychologists I have been studying throughout the years. Such include being charming, interesting people and also their manipulative character to mention but a few. Who is 'Last Born' has also been defined here.
