Sometimes we often misread people, the body language and the gesture, we often communicate verbally as people but we Often underestimate the Influence of the unspoken kind of communication simply because we feel it hardly holds ground. but in the course of studying gesture, signs, body language and other form of non verbal communication I think the future will become a rather ambiguous one that will see people saying what they don't mean, and people meaning what they don't say. in my opinion people have been using the unspoken kind of communication rather wrongly, sometimes the things we cannot say we usually communicate through our gesture and body language, but after looking at so many cases I often wonder, do we really need to be educated on the use of gestures and body language in order to utilise it to a powerful method of communication?
I used to feel that speech provides clarity but body language provides the genisis of basic communication, sometimes we start to talk to people simply by first smiling to them, waving at them or even nodding at them before we even start talking to them, however if this wasn't possible many relationships and friendship wouldn't have been built. The reason why we often do not even talk about the reasons why we get attracted to people be it for romance or for friendship is because we totally refused to understand the fact that something drew us closer to these people in the first place. I think this underestimation is the reason why nowadays people communicate wrongly with their facial expressions and body language which often gets people to misread them completely.
Right from infant we are often taught to communicate without even speaking, sometimes a kid understands when their mother is angry and also understands when she is happy and they often do this because they've learnt to understand the things their mothers do at this period and irs often so astonishing when you place observation to this and how they even uniquely understand unspoken communication and it is always so surprising when a child can recognise this. This is basically understanding communication at the barest minimum, so how then do we now grow up to completely misuse the importance of non verbal communication? Because it was like a default training which was gotten from an early stage of life. Sometimes people show rejection and acceptance by just communicating it facially or through gestures or even through written text because obviously unspoken communication can also feature written texts why do we have to go to the extent of depending on speech clarity just because we are communicating silently amiss?
In the first place we began to use unspoken communication just because we felt it might sell our ideas better than when we say it, although this is often not really good in a formal setting of discussion it has helped a lot in informal lifestyle and attitude in the human Society but nowadays you noticed a trend of cacophony in unspoken communication which makes it difficult to understand what the society really thrives on, what they need and what they really want to say. Somebody wearing rather nothing on their body and taking pictures for the popularity on Instagram should normally communicate something morally wrong, but in truth it is not often always true. We cannot place a meaning to what has been done simply by looking at it nowadays without being wrong and I believe that if we rather believe just on speech clarity to live the life we should in the future then this might be dangerous to communication at large.
