On Rapa Nui / Easter Island, situated in the Pacific Ocean you can combine beach and archeology. The photo is taken on the Anakena beach north of the island. The island is most often acociated with the mystery of the statues. But there are statues on the beach as well. This is a place where archeology is visible everywhere. The palmtrees gives a great deal of shadow. People would sit underneath for a picknic.
