Qurator's Photo Friday Competition #81 - Up and down

DSC_#81.JPG

The photo was taken in the Vatikan Museums, located within the Vatican borders. This is the famous Spiral Stairs in the Museum. There were allways people here walking up and down between the floors. The museums show amazing works from a vast collection of art. The various popes have collected art for centuries, including a number of the most famous classical sculptures and the most important masterpieces of Renaissance art. There are 54 galleries - a large place that will take some hours to complete if you want to see all the galleries. The Vatikan Museums are among the the most visited museums in the world.
