Welcome to:
Hello Steemians!
This is the easiest chocolate moist cake than you can possibly make. I used 8 table spoons of olive oil instead of eggs and butter as a healthy alternative. You probably have all the ingredients in the kitchen right now and it’s a very straight forward moist chocolate cake recipe.
This is also my submission for @Qurators Tasty Tuesday challenge and @worldsdailyfood contest-SATURDAY SALAD and/or DESSERT.
Let’s go and make it!
Serving: 4 persons
Preparation Time: 5minutes
Cooking time: 30minutes
Total time: 35 mins
Difficulty: Easy
Cake Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
Coco powder
1 Tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup cool Coffee
2 tbs Vanilla extract
8 tps Olive oil
2 tsp Lemon zest
Frosting Ingredients (Optional):
1tbs Coco powder
2tps Butter
1 cup caster sugar
2 tsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
100g or 1 bar of grated dark chocolate
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees Farenheight and grease the baking pan with a little bit of olive oil using spatula (This will help the cake not to stick on the pan).
Combine and mix all solid ingredients into a large deep bowl and the other liquid ingredients in another separate bowl.
Wisk all together using a hand wisk or spatula until it’s thick and smooth.
Transfer into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes. (You know it’s done when you inserted a toothpick and the toothpick comes off clean.)
Let it cool down and make the frosting by mixing all frosting ingredients using a hand mixer until it’s fluffy and smooth.
Final touch with grated dark chocolate cake and it’s done!
The letter V from the chocolate bar that I place in the center stands for my mother’s name, Vilma who celebrated her birthday.
Until our next recipe!
