Hello Steemitverse and foodies around the world!

I made a Mozzarella Sticks this afternoon as snacks but turns out to be our early dinner. It was pretty late for snack time at 6:30 PM, coz’ we had our lunch around 2:00 PM. This senario is common for us during weekends. Anyways, let me share you how I prepare this gooey cheese stick.

Let us start with the ingredients:
• 200 grams Mozzarella Cheese,
• egg/s,
• 1 cup corn flakes (crushed),
• 1 cup all purose flour,
• salt,
• black pepper,
• dried oregano,
• powdered garlic,
• chili flakes,
• mayonnaise,
• tomato catsup,
• 330 ml oil.

The mozzarella should be cut according to the size of stick you preferred. I only have one egg in the photo but along the process I added one more large egg. Then, I already made the flour mixture with estimated amount of salt, black ground pepper, powdered garlic and dried oregano leaves for extra tang on the cheese.

To form the cheese stick, dip the mozzarella in the beaten egg.

Yeah! It’s the Kellogg’s corn flakes cereal for breakfast that we usually ate with milk, it will give the super crunchy bite on the outside of the sticks.

I made few in batches.

Then, fry in cooking oil for about 3-5 minutes until it turns golden brown and the cheese starting to melt.

Put in the kitchen towel to remove the excess oil.

I’m too lazy to prepare salsa, so to have a quick and simple dip. I made the very easy mayo-catsup sauce with spice of dried chili flakes. Just simply combined the 1/3 cup mayo and 3 tablespoon catsup plus a dash of chili flakes. Mixed in together.

And there you go! Added by some springkles of dried parsley on top for platting, decoration and photography purpsoses. 😂
Look how good this is.
It’s so gooey in the inside and so crunchy at the outside.
Tasty! 😋😋
