Sunrise Smoothie To Bring A Little Sun Into Winter

Here in the bitter north the Scottish sun barely crests the horizon before furtively slinking back to sleep again.

We need all the help we can get which is why I like to kick off the day with a sunny, healthy but more importantly easy as feck smoothie because in the morning I struggle to open both my eyes are the same time till about eleven am!! This has the added bonus of loads of vitamins to chase away the lurgies and colds.

You will need


1 mango
1 banana
200 mls of natural yogurt
Half a tin of peaches in juice
A cup of orange juice
4 ice cubes

Boof, natural as the day you were born. This serves three so you can half or double to suit how many it's for.

To make

Roughly chop your banana and peel and cube your mango

Wallop everything into a blender

Blitz it for thirty seconds

Tada!!! Slurp, sook and devour the sunny goodness whilst laughing at the winter. Haaaaahaaahahahaaaaaa!!!
