John 16:23 “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, he will give you”. The name of Jesus is a huge investment God has made in the body of Christ. All the victory that Jesus won at Calvary for humanity is invested in the Name of Jesus Christ. All the rights and privileges that the man in Christ possess are domiciled in the Name of Jesus – our standing with God, our access to the father’s Throne room, guarantee of answers to prayer, all the blessings of redemption, etc. This is the reason why it is of outmost importance to know how to use the name of Jesus in prayers.
Jesus tells us that whosoever we ask the father in his name, He (the Father) will give it unto us. This speaks of using the Name of Jesus in the prayer of supplication unto the father, which means asking the Father for things in the Name of Jesus Christ (John 16:23; Mark 16:17).
Engage the name of Jesus in everything you do and ask for, engage the name of Jesus in all situation and circumstances.
