Please help us show off Steem's potential in our community by supporting our quest to raise funds to reimburse the band boosters for one band member's travel from Pennsylvania to Florida for this year's Citrus Bowl Parade.

Earlier posts have already covered the Coatesville Pregame Show and Rustin's Half Time Show. This post will document the stands experience when Coatesville visited Rustin High School on September 28. The night was a special event because the band was joined in the stands and on the field by 8th graders from Stetson Middle School.
As usual for the stands experience posts, I'll try to include photos of the band, football team, cheer leaders, and whatever else I might have captured on my cell phone. Unless otherwise stated, all pictures are original photos that were taken with an LG-G4 cell phone. This post also includes a bonus section with some photos from the Band Booster's facebook page.

Third Quarter is break time. But no eating in the stands near the instruments!

Cheer Leaders

Football
We spent a lot of time watching Coatesville in Rustin's "Red Zone".

But Rustin had some good playing time, too!

Bonus Section
Here are some photos of band members and visiting 8th graders in the stands from the band booster's facebook page. Fortunately, the other parents are much better photographers than I am.

Conclusion
Thank you for viewing this post and for supporting the marching band!
We've seen many of these kids playing each other for several years now, since middle school, so the outcome wasn't much of a surprise. Coatesville is ranked #2 in the state of Pennsylvania, and they played a great game. The final score was 52-21 in favor of Coatesville, but the band and the audience members still had an exciting night out, and at least Rustin's undefeated in-conference record was not disturbed.
Check back soon for photo essays from the October 5 homecoming game against Oxford, the October 12 game against Unionville, and this week-end's game against Sun Valley. Also, the band will be attending the Bands of America competition Saturday at the University of Delaware, so we'll probably have a write up for that, too!

The @rgkmb-unofficial account is an experimental account that is operated by Steve Palmer (@remlaps). The account's purpose is to demonstrate the viability of a fund-raising model that is based on use of the Steem block chain in the community. The account's goal for 2018 is to raise enough money to send one student on the Rustin Golden Knight Marching Band's trip from Pennsylvania to Florida in December for performances in the Citrus Parade and in Disney. For more information, see our introductory post: Introducing Steem to the Rustin Golden Knights Marching Band
Thank you for your time and attention.
