Steemfest

It has been my dream to attend #steemfest ever since I joined Steemit (first my old account, lost my masterkey, later joined with this account , and then found my old steemit account master key... haha... what a roller-coaster ride!) and I was totally fascinated with the vast potential this blockchain can truly give to the society and community who understands and embrace the new technology.

This was one of the wefie we took and I couldn't find my old posts of the whole entire teammalaysia family, from my old post

And that was one of the reason I joined #teammalaysia with its awesome spear-headers @bitrocker2020, @awesomianist and the awesome core team (when we just a few) @elizacheng, @aaronleang, @joannewong, @zord189, @superoo7 and @davidke20 (in no particular order. They are all awesome) to help build the entire community of content creators in Malaysia region (and super East Malaysia too which later multiplied and birth #steemxp with its vast uniqueness) to help content creators and SME alike to build something truly tangible (with still lots of hope) using #steem and #sbd as our first internal trade function.

When Steem Fest (that I know after I became active) first announced in Portugal, I was really envious (but so proud of them) of our big brothers who managed to first represent Malaysia to attend such an awesome huge event.

Then Kraków came, last year; but because of both my parents went through a really hard time, I have decided not to even think of participation as I was saving up for my mom's cornea transplant.

And then, Steemfest announcement of its new even location is - BANGKOK!

It's just neighboring country and this is so close by! This is such a great opportunity to visit with controlled budget...

Moreover, our very beloved @awesomianist and @superoo7 (representing Coingecko) is going to be there!

Plus my last visit to Bangkok was back in 2005; it should look so different now, and wonderful too especially ever since we met @waybeyondpadthai

This is going to be so awesome!

But Steemfest Ticket (due to the unfortunate bear market) is more taxing than I have anticipated

I dig into my packed boxes (I moved to a new place almost a year ago) and found some old Baht! shared from one of my blocktrades contest post

I have saved up just enough for the air ticket (and also to renew my passport... fingers crossed!), and still saving up accommodation (hoping to join @kaerpediem , @khimgoh and @elizacheng ) but I still lack that budget to get a proper plankton steemfest ticket

So I really do hope that the Steem community will give a bit of a push so that I can try to get the ticket in STEEM!

BUT

Don't worry, I am not going to just beg for upvotes, because this is NOT going to get me far.

Instead, I am going to offer something very special for Steemians who are joining Steemfest to pre-order something I have been doing since 2013

Handmade customisable greeting cards

Remember I mentioned I had an old account before this and lost-then-found my master key? Yes, it is called @craftsofluv and these are one of my products I made for my friend's birthday.

I have already begun making samples, like these, where each of them are customised by occasions, thanks to Mirror app with a bit of manual image editing tweak for the customised images; and the faces of the pictures can change according to buyer's order (but will need to discuss in DM to make sure order is done properly)

Therefore:

passport fee (checked)
air ticket (almost there)
accommodation, depending on how many people sharing together

Last but not least...

- Steemfest ticket

Need a lot of help please!

Because if I use up fiat for the ticket, then I won't have enough for the rest of the expenses

I hope that every steemfest confirmed attendee will be able to support by ordering the cards in steem, you can ask @khimgoh how the quality is, so that I can personally deliver to each and every one on #sf4 day.
