Running Challenge - Day #1

I love running.

I always have. But getting into a routine of running regularly is hard. Usually I run extensively for about one or two months and then I stop again for several months. Since last year I managed to keep up my running for almost 10 months straight. Still I don't run as regularly as I would like to. I got inspired by @dailyrunner's recent post and thus starting from today I want to challenge myself to run daily.

What I love the most about running is to enjoy nature. That's why I love trailrunning even more than running on the street🏔 Last year I managed to run over 1000 km. This year I already ran about 350 km in January and February. My goal for this year is to compete at several trailrunning races, with this challenge being the perfect excuse for running more.

Day #1

Today was the perfect weather to start out with the challenge. I did a 15.19 km run up a mountain with a total of 855 vertical meters:

It is currently winter in Austria, which means that most trails have a lot of snow on them. This makes running (especially downhill) even more fun😎 Here are some pictures of my run:
