Few weeks ago, @bluemoon initiated a great challenge, Something About Me, #sam-saturday. This was an amazing idea as we started to learn many things about the people we used to associate with an alias. Now, these steemians became known to us via their hobbies, life experience and the other things they shared with us so far.
So far I told you about my favourite color, why roxy-cat instead of a different nickname and what music genre makes my heart tremble.

Until then, I will share with you my love for flowers and some nice digital edits I made this week.
In Romania we have a custom. When a child is turning one year old, the parents and the godparents will bring a plate in front of the birthday boy (or girl). On this plate you can see different items like silver coins, mirror, perfume, jewelry, money, pen, book etc. It is said if the child will pick the pen, he or she will very likely become a writer. If they pick the money, the kid will be rich. And so on... You got the idea.
When my parents celebrated my one year birthday, I picked a flower despite the family's coaching. 😂 They were hoping I would become a rich girl (life was tough back then) or, at least, a well known scholar (the book was my second choice). Nothing could be done to make me pick the shinny coins because I love flowers since...forever. 🙂
The flowers come in so many shapes and colors, and so many sweet or spicy scents. Being the perfect gift for centuries, flowers are the perfect messengers of lovers. There is nothing you couldn't say with the help of flowers as they symbolise so many things.
My favourite flowers: all of them with a slight preference towards the spring blossoms (hyacinth, daffodils, lily of the valley) and white roses. My bridal bouquet was made of hundreds of lilies of the valley while the cake was decorated with white and turquoise roses. Obviously, the groom had nothing to say about it since I made him the happiest man on Earth. I know he would have loved a guitar shaped cake but life is hard, cope with it. 😂
Loving the flowers so much, the next step was the gardening. Planting, pruning, trimming are my favourite activities during three seasons of the year. Even during the winter I experiment. It looks like it's the best time for planting avocado.
