Till now I never saw an article about reaction-diffusion systems in steemit! Although not an expert on the topic, I am thinking about writing a few articles on this topic since they are so fascinating. I will be explaining some of the biological and chemical systems which exhibit this phenomenon and try to explain some simple mathematical models too. Specifically I intend to explain Gray-Scott model. You can see some youtube videos of the simulations which I did in matlab programming language (Yeah its a trailer :) ):
