The Federation Scout ship is a small and tough long range ship used mainly in the exploration of the Outer Systems in search of fresh resources. Carrying just a small crew of up to 6 people it is well equipped for it missions, often lasting upto a year and also has a reliable defence with 2 forward cannons and a rotating gun turret. The ships are the longest serving ship in the Federation fleet and have been little changed in the last 50 years apart from upgrades to the computer systems and scientific equipment aboard.
