I'm just draining a cup of coffee and reflecting on things and I thought it might be a good time to discuss one of those mind benders with the steemit community. A while back I wrote about giving and receiving being the same thing. I think that is true and only true with the right mindset. I think the correct line of thought here is that sharing is giving and receiving combined. This goes for all walks of life from businesses, to community involvement, and especially in relationships. I think this falls in line with my post about "Don't Keep Score" as well. Many of my posts are focused around forming a healthy view of relationships and fixing my old ways of broken thinking.
I think sharing is mutually beneficial and doesn't require reciprocation. If we choose to share our time and efforts with someone and they don't do the same, odds are we eventually just focus our sharing and attention elsewhere. Sharing our energy in our community is a great way to spread positivity and make the community a better place to live. I think sharing freely is a great way to exponentially amplify our power and one of the reasons we function better when we join our efforts together to work towards a cause.
