Week three. The winner that completes the task following all the guidelines and the most upvotes will receive 5 Steem Backed Dollars (SBD) directly from me into their account.
We often take public and advertising signage for granted but it can tell us a lot more about the people and society that created them. Sometimes it is quite easy to tell what country you are in by simply looking at the signage.
Each country has its own unique style.
Poster art is also very evocative of a time and place. Advertising signs and posters have played a part in our consciousness whether we knew it or not.
This week’s #signage challenge. Holiday posters. Vintage if possible but not essential
The #signage and typography challenge.
This challenge is a celebration of #signage from all over the world. Take a photo and upload it with some information about what it is and where.
For added value. Use the steemit world map to show the location of the signage. Look up the location on Google maps and get the latitude (lat) and longitude (long) and add them into the world map like in the example below. Adding the name of the place as well.

How will the winner be chosen?
The winner will be chosen by the community when the seven days have elapsed. In other words. The post that has received the most upvotes in the comments section of the main post will be the winner. When you upvote you will earn curation rewards too.
There will be a new themed #signage challenge every Sunday. So, you will have multiple opportunities to win.
I will upvote all entries. My votes will not count in picking the winner. So, no foul.
