Slothicorn Contest Entry + Timelapse video

thumbnail_overkillcoin_steemit.png

This is my first and only entry in the Slothicorntest. I decided, after my 3d fail, to run with an isometric slothicorn. However, I opted for a 15° angle slothi. Please check below to learn just so much more information about this pressing issue.

Why does it matter? Comparing isometric angles

In my opinion, the 15° angle isometric looks a bit more natural and is easier on the eyes in most instances. The 30° angle looks a bit more "harsher" and stylized. But really, both styles (or sub-styles!) have their advantages and disadvantages, and it often boils down to matter of personal preference...

Timelapse Video!

SO. MUCH. WORK. Can't post to dTube because the contest requires specific tags.

Fun with application crashes!

My notebook gets strained when I illustrate while recording. Sometimes it gets strained even without the video software running! So, I've been using my work station instead, which has helped a bit. However, I crashed just as I was about to add the fur texture!

VERY fortunate the file didn't get corrupted.
I did have some backups, but there's still NO telling how much work I would have lost! :O

Changing things up!

Thank you all, I've been mad blessed in the past week or so with your kind support. I'm going to have to ease way back on full illustrations, though, and get back to pencil art again. I jumped back into illustration because my SBD and bitcoin sketches were ideas worth pursuing.

I've been so busy illustrating that it's been very difficult to keep up with comments and other's posts, and that's just not where my heart is! Also, it's physically tiring to work so hard on these illustrations. I'd like to do an increasing amount of sketches and use the balance of my time for animations!
