GOOD MORNING STEEMERS - FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ENJOY A MORNING RUN, HERE IS A LITTLE PRE-MORNING BOOST TO GO THAT EXTRA MILE..... its 5.30 am here in Cairo, suns making its way upwards and I am contemplating going for an early run. I am sharing with you today this energising smoothie to get you buzzing - the green tea contains caffeine and this has been shown to help boost cardiovascular performance. The strawberries oranges and spinach combined help the flow of oxygen move through the body making those muscles work hard- it taste yummy!
Ingredients
1 Cup spinach
½ Cup strawberries (frozen's ok)
1 juicy orange
1 tablespoon hemp seed ( flax will work as well or chia)
1 ½ Cups green tea cooled ( make up night before and refridgerate for time in am)
Blend all together and pour into tall glass -drink up and ENJOY and reach for your trainers........
