Earth in Saturn's rings

Saturn's ring system on the new image from Cassini: on the top there is A-Ring and two gaps - Encke and Keeler, named after their discoverers. Bright arc below - F-Ring. And bright point between A and F rings, well, it's our Earth.

It is symbolic, that image was taken on April, 12 - the day, when 56 years ago first human went to Earth's orbit.

Earth is imaged from the distance 1,4 billion kilometers. It's not seen, but Earth is turned to us with South Atlantic. Zooming the image we can see another dim point - our Moon.

During its 13 years service, Cassini several times imaged Earth and other planets. This is Saturn's neighbour - Uranus.
