Tengo el hábito de guardar fotos que veo de casualidad en las que encuentro un gesto, una pose o una expresión, algo que me inspira, pero pocas veces ocurre de manera instantánea, por eso las guardo en una carpeta que llamo "ideas" y cuando no estoy convencido de qué pintar, recurro a ella.

I have the habit of saving photos that I see by chance in which I find a gesture, a pose or an expression that inspires me, but it rarely happens instantaneously, that's why I keep them in a folder that I call "ideas" and when I am not convinced of what to paint, I resort to it.

En estos últimos días, fui a la carpeta y noté que tenía varias fotos de gente contemplando el horizonte, sin observar algo específico, fotos que transmiten una conexión con el Ser, donde el foco está en el momento y no en una circunstancia. Fotos fantásticas, pero si me detengo a pensarlo, de niño no me hubiesen parecido gran cosa.

In these last days, I went to the folder and noticed that I had several pictures of people contemplating the horizon, without observing something specific, photos that convey a connection with the Being, where the focus is at the moment and not in a circumstance. Fantastic photos, but if I stop to think about it, as a child I would not have thought much of them.

Con este pensamiento en mente, tuve una idea, crear una combinación de las fotos que me identifican ahora con algo que me hubiese resultado atractivo cuando tenía 6 o 7 años.

With this thought in mind, I had an idea, create a combination of the photos that identify me now with something that would have been attractive to me when I was 6 or 7 years old.
