Splinterlands Holiday Collection Suggestion

With the Christmas holiday fast approaching and with me (And just about every other Steemian) being a Splinterlands Monster Maniac I wondered why the Devs and team haven't introduced Holiday Cards or special event Monster cards.

We all seen the Christmas stuffies and Snow Globes that have the words Christmas proceeded by a year (2018/2019/Ect.). The same goes for Stuffed Easter Bunny collections and the many other collections of the same nature. I think there's an opportunity here to do the same within the Splinterlands game.

Aside from being a Holiday collection I think the collection (if it was to be introduced) should also include monumental events that happen within the Splinterlands universe.

For example there could be a special card that only the ones who participated in Kickstarters would get. Example, the card would say in the description, KickStarter participant. Everyone would get one and only one regardless of their contribution size as long as they participated in a Kickstarter.

I would even suggest these cards be none playable. In some cases these special cards will only be owned by a few so them being none playable makes the most sense as to not cause unfairness or "break the game". The collection would be strictly a showcase collection that we can show off on our main Splinterlands accounts.

I would bet there would be more than a few that would want to collect all 2018/2019/2020/2021 and onward Christmas monster cards just to have them as its already a proven working model with physical items.

What do you think??

Could this be a working model for the Splinterlands game?
Would you collect a one off Christmas card every year?
