Purpose fulfilment is not a destination; it is a journey: It encompasses everything you do from the time you discover why you're here on earth to the time that you get to your final destination (Death) in the journey of life.
In the journey of life, there's no final destination called purpose fulfilment. Infact, the final destination of everyone on earth is Death. But what you do along the way to your final destination on earth, will determine how fulfilled you'll be on this earth. This implies that, there's no end to purpose fulfilment for as long as you're still on this earth. Another implication of this is that, there's no time that is too late for someone to discover and start fulfilling his/her purpose on earth.
What you came here(earth) for, is your purpose. But you have to discover it and walk in it, in order for your life to be fulfilled. The very moment you discover why you're here on earth and start doing all you can to materialize it, is the moment your journey of purpose fulfilment begins. No man will ever feel satisfied or fulfilled in life unless he/she is walking or living in his/her purpose.
Most people thought that having great wealth, fame, power, excessive enjoyment, etc. would make them satisfied in life. But they are all realizing that satisfaction in life is not dependent on what a man has or possesses either in abundance or in few, but on what he/she does with whatever he/she has. Everything you have or have acquired in life is for a purpose and it's your responsibility to determine such purpose if you want to enjoy true satisfaction in life.
Most of us a allowing what we have acquired or can't acquire in life dictate our life's journey. This is one of the reasons why most of us are getting to our final life's destination(Death) in regret, sadness and frustration regardless of what we might have achieved along the way to our final destination. Your satisfaction in life is knowing what you're required to do with everything that life has given to you; and to enjoy this fulfilment till you leave this earth, you must keep doing it until you get to your final life's destination.
There's no end to purpose fulfilment. Your purpose fulfilment ends in death. It starts from the time you discover why you're here on earth and make up your mind to pursue it. The more you fulfil your purpose in life, the happier and more satisfied you would feel. Fulfilling your purpose in life would determines how thrilled and fulfilled your life would be when you're approaching your life's final destination.
It's not too late to find out why you're here and pursue it. For as long as you still have breath, you still have time to start fulfilling your purpose in this world. Don't waste your life chasing shadows. The substance of your life is in the journey of your purpose fulfilment. Discover what you're on earth for today and pursue it with all that you have in you while you still have time, because you can only find your true satisfaction in life in the journey of your purpose fulfilment.
