Hi fellow Steemians,
i wanted to intoduce an idea I had a couple of days ago to add more value to the community.
are you tired of looking for advices on the internet having no real process solvig your problems? 90% of my Google research (findings) has no value at all. Since i often try new things, I feel lost starting new projects not knowing where to begin or whom I could ask for advice to overcome hurdles on that journey.
You can relate to that topic? Than check out my post.
My idea
The problem
I have a consulting job which requires a lot of google research. I am looking for new approaches, industry examples, figures, statistics and other things you can think of. Most of the time clients give you a problem which you as a service provider should solve for them. Since you cannot know everything, you might need some inspiration or just a small tip to solve the issue. A lot of productivity suffers from that blockade. Most people try the internet, social communities or just professional surroundings first hoping to find their solution. But what is when you face a new topic which you did not work on so far or you just have a vague idea what you should do?
Most people start to google the topics to get a first impression or some insights. The problem I have with google is that most of the times it gives you just a slight overview of the thematic. Most websites do not give you insight or individual help to your specific topic. They just try to catch you with few information so that you purchase a service, a tutorial or a workshop.
Considering this topic from a social media perspective several platforms come to my mind: Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit or Quora. I know that there are many more, but at least from where I am comming from those are the most used ones.
Facebook became kind of oldschool in recent years probably because of too much advertising and their privacy scandals. LinkedIn is in my opinion all about presenting your professional career, building up a network in your field and having different job opportunities. In case your problem is something out of your expertise it is really difficult to find the right person on LinkedIN. Quora & Reddit provide help sections but it is not the real thing I am looking for.
The solution
Steemit is a place where wonderful content is created by different experts in their fields. Finding quality content is here “easier” than on any other platform I know. The only problem is that it might be hard to find a post on the very specific topic you face at the moment. The fact that there are several professionals on this platform is a good starting point. I am realative new on this platform but I have the feeling that most Steemians are more than happy to help other Steemians out. Therefore I think it would be good to create a new tag like steemconsulting where people post their problems and Steemians can comment their expertise, insights, provide help or leave inspiration. Moreover, we could create an account that highlight most discussed topics, resteems important or urgent cases or creates contests for difficult topics that rewards creative ideas.
I want to create a community where everyone (minnows, red fishs and classy whales) can go to to find recommendations, inspiration or even help to solve their problems or hurdels.
Furthermore I think it is also an opportunity to offer expertise and services to other Steemians incase a projects or a problem is bigger. Let me make my point clear:
Example
Conclusion
I want to create a subpage or introduce a hastag where people can ask for advice in a personal or professional manner. The diversity on this platform is impressing and adds already a lot of value to the people.
The possibilities to create a nice place where people have a first contact point and maybe the entire solution for their problems are enormous. I think Steemit is the perfect platform to implement this spirit and would add some more value to the platform. It can enable a network of global resources different ideas and solution methods to perfectly solve individual problems.

In my free time I also work as a personal coach helping others to solve problems that they have a better life. I do a couple of things but I am far away from being a real expert in a specific topic. But I might know something which you have not known yet ;)
