Real Quick! For the first time in 9 months, I've been trading small amounts of steem for bitcoin. It's not a lot of bitcoin, but it's more than what I had 9 months ago.
My steemit account started at the initial gift of steem power given by steemit in August.
It wasn't an easy climb, and most of the small minnows in the community back in August, haven't been active for several months.
With my limited education and my poor reading and writing skills, I've still managed to build up enough Steem to trade it for a few bitcoin.
Steem is as good as bitcoin, and all I have to do, are upvote and comment on posts to receive that sweet steem. And if you continue to steem on, you could have a few bitcoins in your steemit wallet in 9 months.
