Finding free advertising for your business is not easy. If you want to get yourself seen on Google or Facebook it is going to cost you a pretty penny. A company/person can be paying dollars for each click to have their ad on the top if it a competitive keyword. According to http://www.wordstream.com/articles/most-expensive-keywords, the highest cost keywords can be around $50. Think about that, that is $50 you are spending, just if someone clicks on your ad. They do not have to buy anything, in fact, someone can click on it by accident. You could be losing $50 for each person who is tapped your link when he meant to scroll :p. The reason it costs so much is Google brings in the traffic and if you can afford those prices then you are probably not looking for free advertising tips (though this tip is good for everyone).
If you want to get extra traffic to your site and actually have the chance to make money from doing it, may I suggest making a business account on steemit.com. Steemit is a newer social media site that rewards its users with a cryptocurrency. It does not cost anything to set up an account, you can post about your business (add some pictures, let us know about a sale) and if those posts do well you can earn steem and sell it for bitcoin (which you can trade for cash). That means you are telling people about your business and making money to advertise it. Plus, as this site is newer, you have a better chance of being seen than more established sites.
But if you really want to do well, I recommend accepting steem for your business. This site is growing daily and as the users here are holders of the coin, they will want to see it being supported by more and more people. That means, if you make a post that you are accepting steem for your business, there is a good chance, if it gets seen, that it will be upvoted and could make the hot or trending list. That is more views for your business. And it will not cost you anything to accept steem. In order to transfer money on this site, you go to your wallet, enter the @name, the amount, your password and send. Done.
Yes it can be a little gimmicky, but it can bring attention to your site. And if steem continues to grow, you can say you were one of the first companies to have accepted it.
