The current trend on SteemIt is more posts, higher prices, and more competition... Although the payouts are good and the reward pool has re-stabilized there are more people posting. Most of us do not have the luxury of making a post and waiting for our pre-determined rewards. Most of us are going to have to gain the attention of the crowd.
It is time to step up our game and figure out how to compete.
When the price was low and the reward pool down, I think we can all agree the quality of the posts on the site was pretty low. If we have more people participating again that means another round of figuring out what posts grab the most rewards. Higher rewards equal more people working harder for those larger rewards. I am looking forward to watching SteemIt develop in a healthier economy.
I dislike the phrase "Quality Post" because it isn't about quality it is about getting the attention. We've all seen and possibly commented on Long-form vs. Short-form posts. Actually, I sometimes like both. I might read a long article regarding something I am interested in, my next vote might be to express my agreement with something, and then I may also vote on a meme that is clever. Others have some opinions on what they will or won't read.
Now that the flurry of marketing posts has died down a bit, I am curious to see what will be the new hot topic on SteemIt.
