Hello dear steemians!!!

I decided to host my 1st art contest ever! this will serve in part as a fundraise for my art promotion posts, as I'll be using 50% of the earned SBDs in extra promotion costs such as bid bots, resteems etc. The other 50% of the SBD will be for the 1st prize winner of this contest! 😃, there will be prizes for a 2nd and 3rd place as well in the form of @steembasicincome shares, which is a really nice project worth checking out, in short it gives you upvotes with a weight % equivalent to the # of shares you have.

Theme

This contest theme will be the Family
Family according to wikipedia:

In the context of human society, a family (from Latin: familia) is a group of people affiliated either by consanguinity (by recognized birth), affinity (by marriage or other relationship), or co-residence or some combination of these. Members of the immediate family may include spouses, parents, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters. Members of the extended family may include grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and siblings-in-law. Sometimes these are also considered members of the immediate family, depending on an individual's specific relationship with them.

Well I would also include pets as part of the family 😸

Now for the contest, you can either make a drawing of your family (which may include yourself or not), a Family Crest or a symbol or object that represents you or an event that defines you as family 😊 I know this pretty much loose but I've never been fan of tight rules so just do your best and have fun doing your artwork.
