@freewritehouse is an awesome community that is pivotal to STEEM as an outlet for creativity, and a great way for people to get involved and find a voice.

Background info:
When I first joined STEEM, I had no idea what to post about, had never blogged before, and was generally flapping around without a clue. The first community I found was @teamaustralia, and they were great to help out and find a few other Aussie's to get to know. The second community I came across was the freewriters, and in particular @mariannewest. I was still a bit lost here, and still didn't really feel I had much to offer.
But then I gave the #freewrite's a go. And the community of freewriters welcomed me, and encouraged me and supported each other and that really gave me a taste of what STEEM should be all about. I found a voice, and had a prompt to make a post each day and start to grow my account. I found some teriffic people to follow, and be followed by, and still see many of the same people around today.
Fast forward to now, and I am not really active at all in the freewrite community. This is purely a result of me drifting off in a different direction and probably a bit of a short attention span on my part. But I still count a number of the community as good friends here on STEEM, and am eternally gratefull for the part that the @freewritehouse has played in my STEEM journey to date.

One thing I still have in common with the freewrite community is that we all love SBI. Many of us have sponsored each other many times over here and there, and no doubt will continue to do so. So today, I have seen this post from the @freewritehouse. In it, they are looking for sponsorships of lots of SBI units, so they can grow the account sustainably over they long term.
As I approach my 12 month anniversary on STEEM next week, I couldn't go past this and not get involved. So, I am delighted to play a part by sponsoring 40 SBI units for the freewrite house.
