I thought I should make a little post... I didn't get a good pic of @roelandp's fantastic tulip suit, but it was soooo dapper, which he used to segue into talking about the tulip mania though he didn't mention it was caused by free certification and minting of gold by the Dutch national bank.
Then @ned had a 3 part talk about the past, present and future of Steem, and the Steem basement...
Then I went to listen to @xeroc who explained the basics of block chains.
I have been pretty miserable since last night when I started getting severe bronchoconstriction, so I mostly have been sitting in chairs. Then @juanmiguelsalas gave me some Cuban salbutamol... 24 hours of struggling to breathe has left my upper body muscles aching, I have no appetite, I can't walk very far at the moment and there was times felt like I was going to pass out.
I am still weakened from the lack of sleep and fatigue, but I am feeling comfortable enough now. I am not getting nearly as much out of this as I could be, but I am meeting lots of cool people and sometimes having a good chat.
@felixxx has said he will help me out for a few days with a place to recover a bit.
It has been very cool to meet all these people. Thanks again to @beanz for giving the ticket she won.
