After coming up with a million excuses of why I couldn't go to SteemFest (finances, time off, etc) my boyfriend, thankfully, was able to convince me otherwise. Huge thanks & gratitude to my love, @richardcrill, for believing that we could make this trip happen! We did it! :)
I'm not nearly as active as my boyfriend is on Steemit right now (that will hopefully all change once I graduate from culinary school next month & I CAN'T WAIT) but after listening to all of the amazing presenters at SteemFest, I feel even more inspired to keep contributing & growing with this awesome community of people. Also huge thanks to everyone that made SteemFest a reality - you all put on an amazing event!!!
I know everyone has already posted their Amsterdam/SteemFest photos by now, but I'm just now getting a moment to sit down & upload all of my photos since we got back on Monday. You may recognize some of these photos from @richardcrill - we took alot of the same photos while we explored this amazing city together! Enjoy! :)
On our way to the Tobacco Theater on a boat! We saw so many beautiful parts of Amsterdam that I don't think we could have seen on foot during our short time there. Even though we looked like major tourists (oh hi, that's me!) it was still one of the major highlights of the trip
Making our way into the Tobacco Theatre on the first official day of Steemfest!
@ricahrdcrill enjoying his millionth cup of coffee. But no really, I lost count of how much coffee we drank during the whole trip, but who's counting?! :)
Just one of the many awesome Steemians we met! @ballinconscious
We somehow miraculously got tickets into the Van Gogh museum. I know you usually have to get tickets way in advance, but we were able to snag an early morning spot on Sunday morning. It was just as I thought it would be - amazing.
I have a few more pics, but the wifi at the coffee shop I'm at is being fussy. Anyways, I'm so glad to have met all of you amazing humans & I can't wait for SteemFest 2.0!
With love & gratitude,
Lindsey
