Steemfest fever is catching on! And everybody, including me, seems to be doing whatever they can to get to Amsterdam, where the fest is being held on the 11/12/13 of November, 2016.
A lot of people seem to be going to the fest, but a lot of other users are absolutely silent on this.
Because for most users, it is a dream just too expensive to achieve.
Cost of attending, including cost of stay and tickets, of travel and other daily expenses, is prohibitive and impossible for people from countries where the average household runs on $300 a month or less. But it is also equally expensive for normal guys from the so-called "developed" world.
That set me thinking about ways which would allow everyone to participate without breaking their backs. And the easiest one was, to hold a steemfest every year, and in different countries which could be attended by everyone in the vicinity, and the rich one's from far away!
The fest this year could be the template on which the community could start, and tweak every year till everything is smooth. And while making sure that they are held in different countries each year, the choice should be carefully considered to include diverse peoples who will add to the colorful mix on steemit.
And that begs a question,
Should the SteemFest be Held Every Year, and in Different Countries?
My answer to that is a resounding YES!
