HEYLOO TO MY DEAR STEEMIT READERS!!!
I reason found this new challenge named #steemit-ironchef . I mean it's new to me! Any ways as I was introduced to this challenge, I went straight to #proggresivechef 's steemit blog to check out more about it. I was excited to see that this week theme is monochromatic dish. The first thing that was in my mind was " I just smoked a pork lion just now, i can make I pink theme dish ". And walla here we are with
homemade smoked lion with red rice yeast croutons, pickled onions, chille sauce, fermented red rice bean curd.
I apologise for the lack of pinkness in the pork due to bright lighting.
Ingredients for smoked lion: lion, brown sugar, black pepper,onions, garlic, salt, sodium nitrate, hickory wood chunck( for smoking)
Ingredients for red rice yeast croutons: wholewheat flour, bran, sugar, red rice yeast, water, vegetable oil
Ingredients for picked onions: red onions, sugar, salt
Ingredients for chille sauce: red chile, sugar , salt, vinegar, konnyaku
Ingredients for red rice yeast sauce: fermented red bean curd, cream, sautéed garlic.
